Can you install Starlink on heritage Havelock North houses?
Yes, carefully. We find mounting positions that don't compromise the look of the house, and run cabling discreetly. We'll talk through the options with you before drilling anything.
What about properties up Te Mata Peak Road?
We have installed there. The elevated position is actually great for Starlink line-of-sky, but cabling and mounting still need careful planning for each property.
We've got mature trees around the house - will that be a problem?
Maybe. Starlink needs a reasonably clear view of the sky, and big trees can interfere. We assess this before installing - sometimes a different mounting position solves it, sometimes the dish needs to go above the canopy. We'll tell you honestly what's possible.
Does the Tukituki Valley have good Starlink coverage?
Generally, yes. Valleys with a reasonably clear view of the sky tend to work well for Starlink, and the Tukituki Valley's line-of-sight is usually good. We assess each site to confirm before installing.
Can you integrate Starlink with my existing smart home setup?
Usually yes. We can configure Starlink alongside existing mesh WiFi, smart speakers, smart TVs and security systems. We'll talk you through what works together cleanly and what doesn't.
